C Lazy U Ranch Scriptwriting

I was contracted to write two scripts that capture the range of experiences at the all-inclusive Colorado guest ranch, C Lazy U. “Slow Down” shows two companions in tune with each other as they experience the benefits of a slower-paced lifestyle — taking stock of their life and checking in at a deeper level.

“What I Did This Summer” is from the view point of a 10-year-old writing in her journal. Indirectly, her recollection demonstrates a travel experience where a child can thrive in her own independence, while allowing parents moments of connection and respite on a family vacation.

“We don’t get quiet like this in the city. Or at work, or even at home.

It’s quiet like a Saturday morning with no plans, and no need to get in the car.”

“I think my favorite part was when dad woke me up to see the Milky Way.

Dad says the stars are made of fire. ”
